When my daughter was young, she was a fruit fanatic. I was so happy that she craved fruits and didn’t care too much for other sweets, and I like to think that I contributed to that a little by encouraging healthy habits.

Making good food fun is a great way to keep kids on track with a healthier lifestyle. If you’re looking for a sweet & healthy Halloween treat that’s incredibly simple to make, and will also appeal to adoring kids, then try fixing some banana Halloween ghosts this season.

They only require two or three ingredients at the most, and can be prepared in under five minutes!

Young kids will have fun helping to decorate the faces, too.

Banana Halloween Ghosts

Ingredients

  • 4 bananas
  • 16-24 chocolate chips
  • 8 coffee beans (optional)

How to Make

  1. Cut the bananas in half
  2. Press the chocolate chips onto the banana as eyes
  3. Press on the coffee beans as mouths, or use chocolate chips for the mouths if desired

Serve!
